What Speed can do couple with the Second Half of the season

Now that the Yankees are scoring runs the wins are coming. The pitching has been there and now the offense joins up. It does help that the Yankees realize that Posada's injured are prevents him from catching well and throwing out runners. Molina is far and away the better defensive catcher. He is in fact among the best. And pitchers were never that happy with Jorge as a catcher. Hopefully he will adjust to first base or designated hitter.

But the Yankees are looking real good now.

No problem figuring that out. At least three starters are stinking out the place--Melky, Cano and Posada. Betemit is terrible. And when did you ever see a worst bench? Are you kidding me. Cano and Posada will come around. But Posada' s attitude is not that admirable. What you are Jorge is a mediocre catcher at best.

Start dumping that bench. There has to be players who can give a spark. If you cannot hit you should at least be able to bunt and steal bases. We sure do miss Damon and Matsui. But Betemit and Melky are in dreamland and should be benched until they come to. C'mon this is not rocket science. Time to clean house.
