Wang is showing more variety this year. He is using his fastball more. Was it ever impressive at 95 in the 9th inning. Even though the Yankees hitting is below par the Yankees record has not suffered badly. Girardi manufactured two runs tonight with bunts which, as far as I am concerned is a no-brainer. Bunting the runner in scoring position and even to third with less than two outs is smart baseball. So many things can happy with a bunt. Many pitchers are not good at handling bunts, especially when the throw has to go to third base.
Wang is impressive this year and so is the manager.
